First of all, I love your design and detail for the Majora alicorn. The mask is especially well done; it fits perfectly over the ears and horn. The cutie mark is also bizarre and morbid, just like Majora. Clever choice.
The atmoshpere is seeping with briliant sensation. You can practically feel the blue whisps of Majora's magic and the fog as it slithers over your skin, bringing you goosebumbs as you notice the red gleam from above and stand petrified at the horrid doom looming overhead, gazing menacingly right back at you....
Is that Carrousel Boutique? Whether it is or not, good subsitute for Clocktown's clock tower.
And the moon...man, does it stand out. It's even more disturbing than the moon from the video game! The gums and teeth really creep me out, and great job on evoking such an uncomforting chill! The space between it and the building is suspeceful; it makes the moon look that much closer.
All in all, I like this piece. It's dark, but excellently made. It's not often you find a piece that really gets under your skin and makes you uneasy, but given the dark tones of Majora's Mask mixed with the friendly world of MLP:FiM, you REALLY made the chair underneath me wobble.
I was just listening to the Final Hours music from Majora's Mask, and got this sinking feeling that I had missed something truely epic for never playing any other Zelda games besides the Oracle series on GBC as a kid.
And then this picture pops up, and makes me feel even more left out.
But daym, cool work, no matter how you look at it!
right i just need to find ModeratelyDeviant stake him, stick a lemon in his mouth, cut off his head burn the body and bury it and this art in a sealed silver box at a crossroads, then I'll be able to sleep again.
